The human body contains all the qualities and elements of the universe. Air is a nutrient we breath that is made up of many elements. How well we breath is an important factor for creating quality of life. The air we breath effects the quality of our head space or present state of consciousness. Our consciousness in part, is the result of mind and body working synergistically to create that union towards wholeness. Your brain is not just an organ that lives inside your head. Your brain is in every cell of your being. In a way, you can say that the air we breath and how conscious we are about breathing helps shape how well we function mind, body and spirit.
Practices such as Yoga & meditation are two disciplines which have the capacity to bring us home to ourselves in a unique way because they inspire synergistic whole brain and body participation. We are free to discover this path to wholeness when we truly learn who we are as humans and how connectivity gives us the power and strength to live freely and know our truth.
The ritual of a daily Asana (Yoga) Practice along with intermittent meditation helps strengthen the mind and satisfies our need as humans to express and refine our spiritual connection to life. Whether gentle or rigorous, daily asana helps strengthens the physical body and all the systems in its service.
