Thanksgiving is the time to gather with friends and family around the table to share laughs and memories with — but most importantly, food. Roasted Brussel Sprouts

Ingredients:
- 1 ½ pound Brussel sprouts
- 3 TBS olive oil
- ¾ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Cut off the ends of the Brussel sprouts. Mix the Brussel sprouts in a bowl with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Roast on a pan for 35-40 minutes.
- Sprinkle with salt for seasoning. Serve.

Healthy Sweet Potato Casserole

Ingredients:
- 3 large sweet potatoes
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Toppings:
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup chopped pepitas
- 4 Dates, pitted and diced
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 2 TBS butter
Instructions:
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
- Peel and dice sweet potatoes.
- Cook the potatoes in the boiling water for 20-30 min.
- Drain potatoes & mash them with a hand masher.
- Pour the milk, butter, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and pepper into the mixture. Continue mixing.
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Make the topping. Mix all of the topping ingredients together.
- Spread the sweet potato mixture in a 9×13-in casserole dish. Sprinkle topping on top.
- Bake for 25-30 min.
